The Executive Director's Essential Reading List

I am frequently asked "What is a good book to read?" and I always ask them "What are you interested in?" The answer is relevant. Having been asked the question for as long as there has been a BGES and given that I read about 50 books a year with a library of some 3,000 volumes and growing I decided to make a list of the books that moved me in different ways. Each one has meaning and collectively they can create a range of study that will leave anyone working the majority of the list a much more educated person. See the Director's Essential Reading List.
