Scholarly monographs

Scholarly monographs are published by the Blue and Gray Education Society as notable ones become available. A complete list of all published monographs, along with a selection of text from each, or, in the case of out-of-print monographs, links to the entire publication, is included here. Monographs are provided at no charge to current members as they are published.

Newsletters

Our "In Camp on the Rappahannock" newsletters are printed three times a year and serve a dual purpose of keeping our members up to date on BGES activities as well as providing educational articles. The most current newsletters are included here:

Fields of Honor

Fields of Honor was published bythe National Geographic Society and is a compilation of Ed Bearss' narratives of pivotal Civil War battles as told during Blue and Gray Education Society seminars over the past 15 years.

Book Reviews

Book reviews are compiled by Blue and Gray Education Society periodically. Monograph#15 includes numerous such reviews. More will be posted here as available.
