Scholarly monographs are published by the Blue and Gray Education Society as notable ones become available. A complete list of all published monographs, along with a selection of text from each, or, in the case of out-of-print monographs, links to the entire publication, is included here. Monographs are provided at no charge to current members as they are published.
Our “In Camp on the Rappahannock” newsletters serve a dual purpose of keeping our members up to date on BGES activities as well as providing educational articles.
Fields of Honor
Fields of Honor was published by the National Geographic Society and is a compilation of Ed Bearss’ narratives of pivotal Civil War battles as told during Blue and Gray Education Society seminars over the past 15 years.
Book reviews are compiled by Blue and Gray Education Society periodically, and published in our blog. Links to them are in our Bookstore.
